| Description: | QUANTITY SURVEYOR – BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. Our client is looking to recruit and experienced qualified Quantity Surveyor. The work is mostly providing a service to Construction Companies who tender on a Design Build basis, although some work is traditional, using Architects drawings. You should therefore have the experience to build up a full specification for construction and have an in depth experience of construction to fill out the unspecified details of the buildings. The projects could range in cost from several hundreds of thousands to multi million pounds. The position is primarily office based and highly computer orientated. One in house program is “Pre-Construct“. It is a small friendly office environment located on the Sussex sea coast. You will be working partly as a member of a small team but you should also be able to be a self starter on an individual basis. Salary will be commensurate with the your experience and the importance of this position within the company. There would be long term prospects. You will probably be qualified to RICS or CIOB standard and have formal training. Persons with no experience of UK quantity surveying standards will not be considered.
