Description: Field Service/Installation Engineer – Security Alarms JC115
Developing, Installing & Maintaining Systems specific to a client specification. Role includes maintaining interpersonal relationships with customer representatives on site, ensuring Customer Satisfaction. Must comply with strict company procedures on all projects undertaken, providing accurate feedback and documentation on work in progress and work carried out. Experience in security alarms is essential preferably Galaxy and menvier. Based from Hampshire, where 50% of the time will be spent, will involve travel to UK and Europe.

Main Objectives and Activity
· Installations: Complex and general installations.
· Electronic/mechanical: Total system trouble-shooting.
· Customer skills: Daily interface with suppliers and end users on equipment status issues.
· Relationships: Provides accurate reports to Project Manager, enable Administrator to efficiently update company procedure administration. Provides accurate feedback of work on site, helps train others where necessary.
· Cost awareness: Ensure common practices and efficient methods are applied for cost control.
· Administration: Responsibly completes administration tasks in timely and complete manner, including pre & post installations documentation, time/day/job/fault/expense/car & mileage logs.
· Quality: maintain effective quality systems compliant with guidelines
· Proactively seeks training to keep up-to-date with technological developments

Knowledge and Experience
· Qualified to HND equivalent (Highly Beneficial)
· 3 years field service experience
· Technical analytical skills
· Willing to travel around UK and Europe
· Ability to work independently with minimum direction
· High work standards, works qualitatively, demonstrates initiative and motivation
· Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
· Plans and organizes work effectively
· Team working skills
· First line maintenance responsibility, making decision to recommend replacement systems, upgrades and repair work.
