Description: Applications/Technical Support Engineer
An Applications Engineer (possibly recent graduate) is required to join a large manufacturing company based in East Sussex.

Key Responsibilities
· Provide technical & applications support to Customers, Key Account Managers and internal customers, with particular specialisation on “behind the panel”
· Work closely with Engineering on new product developments (features, manuals, beta feedback etc.)
· Provide occasional on site support to UK and International customers and Distributors
· Provide product training for UK and International customers and distributors
· Capture and validate product issues and feed to Engineering to address
· Provide backup support to all U.K. sales channels
· Provide backup for sales order processing

Qualifications/Background

· Whilst a Degree in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent, is nice to have, of equal value is a strong Apprenticeship grounding in a relevant industry. (ONC or 3+ years minimum). We would also welcome, applications from Graduates seeking their first position within a commercial environment.

· Knowledge of and experience in temperature and process control instrumentation & fieldbuses (Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet & Ethernet)

· Proven record in customer support.

In return you will receive a salary circa £25k - £29k, dependent upon experience, (less if recent graduate) pension, 25 days holiday.
