| Description: | JUNIOR PROJECT ENGINEER (NEW GRADUATE OR 1-2 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE PREFERRED) A rare and exciting opportunity to join one of the world’s market leaders in the design and supply of plant for the oil, gas and petrochemical industry world-wide. The successful applicant will be a key part of our project engineering team providing a high standard of technical expertise and experience. Essential skills would include attention to detail, computer literacy, the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure, a team player, the ability to learn about other areas, for example pressure part and steel fabrication. You will have the ability to think commercially as well as technically. You will participate in our goal to increase the efficiency of our work process by sensible use of computer applications. In return you will receive full on the job training, be encouraged to assume responsibility for projects, work as part of a small dynamic team in a challenging commercial environment, gain experience and be responsible for £multi million projects worldwide (initially with supervision). In time you will have the opportunity for extensive international travel and for development of relationships with existing and potential future customers and suppliers. As you gain experience you will become a key part of our team and your increasing value to our business will be reflected in regular salary reviews. You will report directly to the Manager of Projects. An interest in instrumentation would be an advantage, but not essential. The successful candidate will hold a degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with an interest in the petrochemical industry. In return our Client can offer a competitive starting salary of between £19k to £22k.
