| Description: | QUALITY ENGINEER Our client is a successful engineering company manufacturing and selling to a buoyant market. They are certified ISO 9001 and are a leading supplier to a range of blue chip customers. The company has a strong and growing order book and is well placed to take advantage of continued growth in its niche markets. They are located at an attractive location on the coast in West Sussex. The main function of the position is to improve product quality , by monitoring process methods and ensuring that the Company’s procedures and products comply with Company and customer requirements. They are looking for someone with: • a minimum of 2 years experience in quality engineering coupled with experience in mechanical engineering.. • Experience of modern quality systems and techniques, with experience of some of the following, Kaizen, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis and Poka Yoke. • Ideally with hands-on-engineering experience • A qualification in mechanical engineering, preferably ONC/HNC or equivalent The following would be useful • Some Experience of Methods Improvement. • Experience of internal audits. • Experience of CAD |
